it's my first time in this galaxy. far from my first space travel.

well you're one step ahead of me. my planet doesn't send people any further out than our moon.

we could call this a "ship-assigned fellow compulsory crewmember" if it makes you more comfortable. but buddy is shorter. anyway my theory is they're just trying to keep us all busy. too many fights when they don't.

is this whole thing more or less freaky given that you've been to space before

my advisor used to tell me that if you think you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room

so look at it this way. we're both in the right room. galaxy. room-galaxy.

but the bad news is, i don't think it's just a galaxy between you and wherever you're trying to get back to.
